With summer right around the corner, there are a ton of new restaurants making their way to the Arlington area. From Greek to Mexican, there’s a whole variety of new foods coming, and we’re here to share what they are!

1. The Simple Greek

This Greek restaurant will be located in the Colonial Village Shopping Center at 1731 Wilson Boulevard, and will serve Greek pitas and bowls. Coming soon signs are up & they plan to open in May!

2. Medium Rare

Known for their award-winning steak, brunch, and desserts, this is the fourth D.C. area location to open. Located at 3601 Fairfax Dr., Medium Rare opened its doors April 14th!

3. Istanbul Grill

This new Turkish restaurant is replacing El Ranchero, and will offer a variety of traditional Turkish foods. Aiming to open up in May, Istanbul Grill will be located at 4617 Wilson Boulevard, in the Bluemont neighborhood.

4. Bartaco

This Mexican-style restaurant is set to open in September as part of Ballston Quarter’s new food hall coming. Inspired by the beach culture of Brazil, Uruguay, and Southern California, Bartaco offers tacos, rice bowls, and more.

5. Tacos, Tortas, & Tequila

Also coming later this fall, the people behind Ambar and BABA are opening up 3 new Mexican restaurants in the area. One of them, Tacos, Tortas & Tequila will be a traditional Mexican eatery serving tacos and tortas and will be located in Clarendon.
