Trinidad is a quiet residential neighborhood in Northeast Washington DC lined with rows of American Victorian and Craftsman style houses. You’ll find Trinidad just west of the National Arboretum, not far from the Eckington neighborhood and Capitol Hill. If you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll find it on the H Street corridor, a short walk away.
Trinidad Recreation Center includes places to skateboard and play basketball. Joseph Cole Recreation Center also offers a gymnasium, soccer field, basketball courts, jungle gyms, and a spray park.
Trinidad’s Schools include: Crummel Elementary School and Joel Elias Spingarn Senior High School. Especially notable is Gallaudet University, a college for the deaf and hard of hearing. Trinidad is home to many deaf students and faculty from this nearby college.
